Nothing could have prepared me for my first cancer walk. All the training seemed so great and yet the pain and tears of this weekend were unimaginable.
Despite that torture of that two days walk, there was also the amazing testimonials of the women still fighting this terrible disease and the dedication of the supporters.
No one could have done this without the support of the crews and volunteers that maintained us through the weekend.
And when all was said and done i signed up for another weekend.
